iHeartMedia has filed another lawsuit against its bondholders over damages caused by its previous suit over the transfer of debt.
The new suit was filed on Tuesday as the San Antonio Express-News states “the dispute delayed its ability to refinance some of its debt and that it cost more money to restructure its bonds as a result”. iHeart claims the trial increased the price of the company’s debt and seeks between $100 million and $475 million in damages and to “reaffirm our position that such debt repurchases are permissible.”
