Townsquare Media News/Talk 1290 KGVO will lose its full-powered FM simulcast next week as it adds a translator and second AM to fill the lost coverage.
The former 101.5 KGVO-FM Frenchtown MT changed call letters to KAMM-FM in December and will flip to Alternative “Alt 101.5” on Thursday, February 2. KGVO will begin simulcasting on 98.3 K252FP Missoula covering Missoula proper. To help fill some of the lost coverage south of Missoula “Oldies 1240” KLYQ Hamilton MT will also begin simulcasting KGVO.
