Impact Radio Group will swap Sports “ESPN Boise” 730 KNFL Boise ID, 92.7 K224EP Boise, and the CP for 106.7 K294DC Boise to Kevin Terry’s Radio Rancho LLC. for 99.1 K256CZ Boise and $35,000. Radio Rancho owns two other FM’s in the Boise market, while Impact will own 1 AM, 4 FMS, and 3 translators in the market upon closing of this deal. The current formats will not be involved in the deal.
Radio Rancho is also selling 95.7 KMGR Gunnison UT to Sanpete County Broadcasting for $50,000. The seller has a pending deal to acquire KMGR from Broadway Media’s SLC Divestiture Trust in exchange for two translators.
Laurel Media is purchasing Oldies “92 Gold” 92.3 WRRN Warren, Country “Kinzua Country 104.3” WKNB Clarendon, and News/Talk 1310 WNAE Warren PA from Radio Partners LLC for $1 million. Laurel Media owns three stations and a translator in nearby St. Mary’s PA.
As part of its $11 million sale of its New Bern NC cluster to Curtis Media, Beasley Media will acquire 94.5 W233CJ Indian Trail and 94.7 W234BY Charlotte from Curtis Media’s Eastern Airwaves subsidiary. Both translators will rebroadcast HD subchannels of 103.7 WSOC Charlotte. Also as part of that previously announced deal, Curtis Media head Don Curtis will transfer his 50% share of Inner Banks Media to the Lakestone Legacy Trust, headed by Haywood Cochrane. The acquisition of Classic Hits 107.9 WNCT-FM Greenville will see Curtis’ asset stake in Inner Banks increased from from 27.14% to 32.84%, while Cochrane’s trust gains 10.45%. Inner Banks Media will pay $3.2 million to receive WNCT-FM as part of the deal.
Gary W. Ward Broadcasting sells Silent 1380 WLRV Lebanon VA to Psalm 68 Eleven Media for $129,402.45 to pay off all liens and debts owed by the station.
American Family Association sells 88.9 KAOW Fort Smith AR and 90.3 KASD Rapid City SD to Bott Media’s Community Broadcasting for $460,000.
West Virginia Educational Broadcasting Authority acquires 91.3 WQAB Philippi WV from Alderson-Broaddus College for $30,000.
Translator Sales
Alexandra Communications sells 95.7 K239CL Spokane WA to Radio Station KMJY LLC for $42,000. The buyer operates K239CL as Classic Rock “Oz 95.7” fed from 1330 KYOZ Spokane. Thomas Hodgins is a partner in both groups.
