As we’ve been tracking in our Domain Reports the past few weeks, Townsquare Media flipped Active Rock “Rev 96.7” KZRV Sartell/St. Cloud MN to Classic Hits “96.7 The River” at midnight.
The St. Cloud market had been without a Classic Hits station. The River is launching with a full airstaff. Barry Allen, afternoon host at sister Country 98.1 WWJO, will add mornings at KZRV. WWJO Brand Manager/Morning host Pete Hanson will pull double duty in afternoons while adding Brand Manager duties for KZRV as well. Hot AC “Mix 94.9” KMXK morning host Chad Taylor will track nights. Former WWJO morning co-host Cindy Wear, who currently serves Director of Creative & Production for Townsquare Media St. Cloud, will host middays.
