Windy City Broadcasting sells 96.7 K244EX Las Vegas NV to Cesar Chavez Foundation’s Farmworker Educational Radio Network for $400,000. While K244EX will rebroadcast iHeartMedia’s 95.5 KWNR-HD3 Las Vegas, both will allow they buyer’s rimshot Regional Mexican “96.7 La Campesina” KYLI Bunkerville to expand its coverage in the market.
Farmworker Educational Radio Network is also purchasing Silent 101.9 K270BZ Phoenix AZ from Riviera Broadcasting in a deal not yet filed with the FCC according to broker Kalil & Co. K270BZ will rebroadcast recently acquired 860 KNAI Phoenix to allow the group to move to a full-time commercial signal from their shared time non-commercial 88.3 KNAI-FM Phoenix.
Catholic Radio of the High Plains is adding a second signal in Amarillo TX as it acquires Sports “ESPN 1010” KTNZ/94.5 K233CB Amarillo from Tejas Broadcasting for $150,000. Catholic Radio of the Texas High Plains already owns 1360 KDJW Amarillo.
Withers Broadcasting has donated AC “Mix 104.1” WETT Bridgeport/Clarksburg WV to Christian operator VCY America. VCY will convert the station to non-commercial as part of the network based at 107.7 WVCY-FM Milwaukee.
Power Valley Communications sells Country “95.3 The Bee” WADI Corinth MS to Eagle Radio Network for $360,000. Some of the principles of Eagle Radio Network also own Southern Gospel “99.7 The Eagle” 1400 WBIP/99.7 WW259CP Booneville MS.
