Cumulus Conservative Talk 630 WMAL Washington DC/105.9 WMAL-FM Woodbridge VA has named Vince Coglianese as its new morning co-host along side Mary Walter.
Coglianese joins WMAL from conservative website The Daily Caller where he replaced site founder Tucker Carlson as Editor-In-Chief when Carlson exited to focus on his Fox News Channel program last November. Coglianese has previous radio experience in Morehead City NC where he previously hosted a show on 107.1 WTKF.
He replaces Brian Wilson on WMAL’s morning show following his exit in May. Walter joined the show in February after previous co-host Larry O’Connor moved to afternoons.
Cumulus Media announces that it has named Vince Coglianese as Co-Host of NewsTalk WMAL’s “Mornings On The Mall” morning show, effective immediately. Coglianese joins current Co-Host Mary Walter in leading Washington, DC’s destination morning news, talk, and commentary program, which airs weekdays from 5AM to 9am on 105.9 FM and AM630 WMAL.
Coglianese is the former Editor-In-Chief of The Daily Caller, where he currently serves as Editorial Director. He regularly appears on the FOX News Channel, CNN, MSNBC, the FOX Business Network, and CNBC. Prior to joining The Daily Caller, Coglianese served as Web Editor for Carolina Coast OnLine, and hosted a talk show on WTKF/WJNC in Morehead City, NC.
