Equinox Broadcasting has flipped Classic Rock “Z93” 92.9 W225BC Endicott/Binghamton NY and 106.7 WCDW-HD3 Johnson City to Rhythmic CHR “Hot 92.9“.
Positioned as “Binghamton’s Hip-Hop”, the station is promoting a music mix of “hip hop and R&B from the 90’s to today”. While the Binghamton market did not have any full on commercial Urban/Rhythmic based station, Hot will find itself competing against three CHRs in the market: GM Broadcasting’s “Magic 101.7” WLTB, Townsquare Media’s “Wild 104” 104.1 WWYL, and iHeartMedia’s “Now 105.7” WBNW-FM.
