Cumulus Hot AC 104.5 WXLO Fitchburg/Worcester MA has appointed Laura St. James as its new Program Director and midday host.
St. James previously spent six years programming Cumulus AC 100.7 WLEV Allentown PA until exiting in July 2016. She has been hosting weekends on Country “Nash-FM 94.7” WNSH New York for the company and will continue to do so. She also spent 16 years at iHeartMedia CHR “B104” WAEB-FM Allentown with the final eight as PD there.
St. James fills the vacancies created by the resignation of APD/MD/Midday host Mary Knight and departure of OM/PD Lance Ballance in August.
Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed radio programming professional Laura St. James as Program Director for Hot AC-formatted WXLO 104.5 FM in Worcester, MA. St. James will continue to be heard weekends on WNSH-FM (NASH FM 94.7) in New York. She most recently served as Program Director/Afternoons for Cumulus Media-Allentown’s WLEV. She started her career, and later became Program Director, at iHeartMedia-Allentown station WAEB (B104). St. James has also held programming positions at stations including: WNEW/New York; WLTW/New York and WBEB/Philadelphia.
