Eric White makes an impressive leap for his first full-time radio job.
White, who had been interning at iHeartMedia’s Philadelphia cluster in the programming and production departments and recently became a weekend host at CHR “Q102” WIOQ has been hired by sister CHR “107.5 Kiss-FM” KKDM Des Moines as Music Director, Imaging Director, and Afternoon Host. White began interning at iHeartMedia earlier this year after also interned for Greater Media Rock 93.3 WMMR Philadelphia as well as programming his college’s student-run webcaster.
White succeeds Greg Chance in afternoons at KKDM. Chance remains in place as SVP/Programming for iHeartMedia Des Moines and KKDM Program Director.
Eric White has been named Afternoon Personality, Music Director and Imaging Director for 107.5 KISS FM, Des Moines’ #1 Hit Music Station, effective November 27, 2017.
Eric will broadcast from 2 – 7 p.m. on 107.5 KISS FM, including a variety of Top 40 hits from artists such as Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, The Chainsmokers, Bruno Mars and others. As Music Director of 107.5 KISS FM, he will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the station’s music programming and be responsible for all of the station’s imaging. He will report to Greg Chance, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Des Moines.

Eric White joins the Des Moines market from iHeartMedia Philadelphia, where he most recently worked in programming, promotions and was on-air. He also served as the Program Director and on-air talent for Temple University’s internet radio station, WHIP. He began his career as a programming intern at Beasley Media Group’s WMMR-FM in Philadelphia and is a graduate of Temple University.
