Beasley Media has announced that Tee Gentry will relocate from Tampa to return to Augusta GA as Operations Manager for their Augusta GA cluster and Program Director of Country “Kicks 99” 99.5 WKXC.
Gentry previously held that position in Augusta prior to moving to Tampa as Operations Manager and Program Director of Country 99.5 WQYK when Beasley closed on its acquisition of the Tampa cluster from CBS Radio in December 2014. Gentry follows Kent Dunn back to Augusta as Dunn recently returned to that market after serving as VP/Market Manager in Tampa.
With Gentry’s return to Augusta, Chris O’Kelly will step down from the OM/PD duties but remain with the company as Assistant Program Director/Music Director and midday host on WKXC.
Beasley Media Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBGI) announces T Gentry will be returning home as Operations Manager and Program Director of Kicks 99 for the company’s Augusta-based cluster on Monday, December 18th, 2017.
Gentry most recently spent the past three years serving as Beasley Media Group Tampa Operations Manager and Program Director at 99.5 WQYK-FM. He previously held the same position in Augusta.
“T has done a tremendous job over the past 17 years at Beasley Media Group,” said Beasley Media Group Augusta Vice President and Market Manager Kent Dunn. “He did great in Tampa, but has decided to return to Augusta to be closer to his family. We are absolutely thrilled to welcome him home to lead our team and Kicks 99!”
Chris O’Kelly will remain on staff as Assistant Program Director and Music Director of Kicks 99.
