Entercom Country “US 99” 99.5 WUSN Chicago has appointed Kenny Jay as Program Director.
Jay transfers from Seattle where he programmed Country 94.1 KMPS until its flip to Soft AC in late 2017. Prior to moving to KMPS in January 2016, Jay served as APD and later PD at CBS Radio’s “Buz’n 102.9” KMNB Minneapolis.
Todd Cavanagh, who has been programming WUSN for the past year remains in place as Vice President of Programming for Entercom Chicago and Program Director of CHR “B96” 96.3 WBBM-FM while adding those duties at Classic Hip-Hop “104.3 Jams” WBMX.
Entercom, the #1 creator of live, original, local audio content in the United States, announced that Kenny Jay has been named Program Director of US*99 (WUSN-FM), Chicago’s Hottest Country station. Jay will oversee programming for the country station and will report directly to Todd Cavanah, Vice President of Programming, Entercom Chicago. Cavanah will continue as Program Director of B96 (WBBM-FM) and the newly launched Jams 104.3 FM (WBMX-FM).

Prior to joining US*99, Jay was the Program Director for KMPS-FM in Seattle. In 2012, Jay joined KMNB-FM in Minneapolis as Assistant Program Director and was later elevated to Program Director in 2014.
