Boise based Impact Radio Group is renaming itself as Iliad Media Group as it takes over the management of Locally Owned Radio’s six stations in Twin Falls ID.
The moves come as Locally Owned Radio LLC operators Larry and Stephanie Johnson retire from the day to day operations of the stations. Impact Radio Group CEO Darrel Calton explained that Iliad Media Management, LLC was formed to oversee Boise’s Impact Radio Group and Twin Falls’ Iliad Media Group as both clusters share the same ownership but had been operated separately until now. Crystal Castorena, General Manager of Iliad Media Group’s Boise cluster, will add those duties for the Twin Falls market.
The Twin Falls cluster includes CHR “Music Monster 92.7” KTPZ Hazleton, Country “102.1 The Bull” KYUN Twin Falls, Variety Hits “104.7 Bob-FM” KIKX Ketchum, AC “Q106.7” KIRQ Hailey, Soft AC “95.1 The Breeze” K236BS Twin Falls/KYUN-HD3, and Alternative “I Rock 105.1” K286CH Twin Falls/KYUN-HD2.
In Boise, Impact owns Variety Hits “96.1 Bob-FM” KSRV Ontario, Rhythmic CHR “Wild 101.1” KWYD Parma, Country “101.9 The Bull” KQBL Emmett, Hot AC “My 102.7” KZMG Melba, Alternative “96.5 The Alternative” K243BM Boise/KQBL-HD3, Sports “ESPN Boise” 99.1 K256CZ Boise/KQBL-HD2 and Oldies “101.5 Kool-FM” 1380 KKOO Ontario/K268CU Boise.
