Bristol Broadcasting expands in Marion VA with the purchase of Country “103.5 The Bull” WZVA Marion from T.E.C.O. Broadcasting for $200,000. Bristol already owns Country “FM 94” 93.9 WMEV-FM, Classic Hits “KZ 101” 1010 WUKZ, and Gospel 1330 WSNQ in Marion. T.E.C.O. retains Classic Hits 102.5 WOLD-FM Marion following the sale, while Bristol began operating WZVA via LMA on March 8.
Air-Free Wireless sells Country 1340 KTMP and 94.5 K233DP Heber City UT to Sanpete County Broadcasting Company for $135,000. The buyer has been operating KTMP under a Time Brokerage Agreement since last September.
Saumil and Poorvesh Thakkar’s Decatur Media Land is acquiring South Asian “Fun Asia” 1110 KVTT Mineral Wells/95.5 K238CC Decatur TX from John Hammond’s Texoma Broadcasting for $1.375 million. The buyers have been operating KVTT under LMA since July 2017.

Hubert Beavers sells 105.9 K290AP Commerce TX to E Radio Network for $10,000. The translator already rebroadcasts the buyer’s “EZ Rock” 1400 KGVT Greenville TX.
