Entercom Alternative “Alt 103.7” KVIL Dallas has appointed Jenn Marino as its first on-air host.
Marino, who most recently served as co-host of Premiere Networks’ syndicated Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx, will host mornings at the station but with tracks mixed into other dayparts as well. She has also worked at multiple stations in her native Oklahoma as well as Baltimore where she has previous Alternative experience at the former 99.1 WHFS (where she was the final on-air host prior to its flip to Spanish) and nine years co-hosting afternoons at Hot AC “Mix 106.5” WWMX.
Entercom, the #1 creator of live, original, local audio content in the United States, announced that Jenn Marino has been named as on-air host for ALT 103.7 KVIL-FM in Dallas-Fort Worth. Marino will lead morning drive as well as all three prime dayparts. She is the first on-air host to join KVIL since its commercial-free launch as an alternative station. Marino will be on-air beginning today.
“We have an opportunity to build a powerful brand with ALT 103.7 and it begins with identifying incredibly talented people,” said Brian Purdy, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Dallas-Fort Worth. “Jenn is passionate about radio and driven to win and we’re looking forward to having her energy and drive on-air.”
“I’m beyond elated to work with Jim Fox, Brian Purdy and the entire Entercom Dallas- Fort Worth team,” said Marino. “I’m looking forward to getting to know the alternative music fan base in Dallas-Fort Worth.”
Marino was previously a co-host for Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx, syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks.
