Following its shift from Hot AC back to CHR last week, iHeartMedia’s “106.1 Kiss-FM” KBKS Tacoma/Seattle has added Zach ‘Mayhem’ Wellsandt as APD/MD/Midday Host and Zann as Afternoon Host.
Wellsandt transfers from Austin/San Antonio where he served as Director of CHR programming “96.7 Kiss-FM” KHFI Austin and “96.1 Now” KXXM San Antonio. He previously programmed 104.5 WSNX Grand Rapids and “Hot 96.9” KEZE Spokane.
Zann most recently served as midday host at Cumulus CHR “Hot 93.3” KLIF-FM Dallas and Westwood One’s Hot AC and Hits Now formats. She has also hosted afternoons and “92.3 Now” WNOW-FM New York and morning show producer at “Wired 96.5” WRDW-FM Philadelphia.
Seattle’s New Hit Music, announced today that Zann will join the station as its afternoon drive on-air host, effective immediately. Zann will broadcast weekdays from 3pm-7pm.
Zann’s show will feature a mix of lifestyle and pop culture moments along with music from top artists including Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, Bruno Mars, Halsey and more. She joins 106.1 KISS FM from Dallas, where she most recently served as the midday host at KLIF-FM and Westwood One’s Hot AC and Hits Now. She has also served as an afternoon drive host in New York City. She began her career as a morning show producer in Philadelphia and is a graduate of Temple University.

Also announced today, Zach “Mayhem” Wellsandt will join the station as Assistant Program Director and Music Director in addition to his new Midday host responsibilities. In his new operational roles for 106.1 KISS FM, Wellsandt will assist in the day-to-day operations of the station and scheduling of music logs as well as assist in the station’s imaging and branding. He will be heard from 10am-3pm.
Wellsandt joins iHeartMedia Seattle from iHeartMedia’s Central Texas region, where he most recently served as the Director of CHR. His background includes Program Director roles in Austin, Grand Rapids and Spokane, where he began his career.
