Thanks to last years removal of the broadcast/newspaper cross-ownership ban, Seaton Publishing’s Grand Junction Media Inc. will acquire Red Rocks Radio’s cluster in Grand Junction CO.

The owners of the Grand Junction Sentinel will add Oldies “Red Rock 101.5” KGJX Fruita and its three HD fed translators: Hot AC “Kiss 94.3” K232FB, Spanish Adult Hits “Juan 104.7” K284AP, and Country “Canyon Country 107.3” K297BR Grand Junction. The Sentinel states that it intends to “infuse more local news into the stations.”
