iHeartMedia Hot AC “Cities 97” 97.1 KTCZ Minneapolis is returning to its AAA roots.
Now positioning as “Uniquely Twin Cities”, KTCZ’s playlist will be a hybrid of AAA and Hot AC with core artists listed as Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, Adele, Weezer, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, and John Mayer.
Former KTCZ Program Director Lauren Macleash introduced the relaunch of the station at 12pm today. A few on-air lineup changes accompanied the relaunch. Keri Noble, who had been co-hosting mornings with Greg Thunder, will now be solo in mornings. Rich Davis, PD of KTCZ and sister CHR 101.3 KDWB, will replace Madison in middays. Paul Fletcher and Mollie Kendrick remain in afternoons and nights respectively.
