Entercom Hot AC “99.7 The Point” KZPT Kansas City has announced that Brian ‘Ponch’ Hudgens and Nikki Vivas will take over their morning show on Tuesday, September 4.
Ponch is best known for his 17 year run in mornings at CHR “Mix 93.3” KMXV, the final nine where he also served as Program Director, until his exit in August 2016. Nikki Vivas joins the station from middays at Cumulus CHR “95.7 The Vibe” KCHZ. Vivas has also served as a traffic reporter for KMBC-TV Kansas City and Promotions & Marketing Director for KMXV.
The pair will replace Brady Goodman and Taylor McKay in mornings at KZPT. Goodman has slid to afternoons replacing Aaron Carreno, who has moved to the same daypart at sister “99.1 The Mix” WMYX Milwaukee. McKay exits with the changes.
