Edwards Media will launch “CBS Sports 94.1” K231CG/KWBT-HD2 Waco TX on October 1.
Rich Richardson, General Manager of K231CG and Edwards’ Urban “94.5 The Beat” KWBT, will host “Go Big or Go Home” from 6-9am weekdays, with Lark Smith’s “Order in the Court” following from 9-11am. The remainder of the station’s schedule will come from CBS Sports Radio including Jim Rome from 11am-2pm and Tiki & Tierney from 2-5pm. The station will also carry La Vega High School sports and the NBA’s Houston Rockets.
The 10w/35m facility will become Waco’s third Sports station joining M&M Broadcasters’ “ESPN Central Texas” 1660 KRZI/92.3 K222DC and “Fox Sports 1590” KLRK.
