Jensen Karp Joins Kevin & Bean Show
Entercom Alternative 106.7 KROQ Los Angeles has added writer/producer/author/rapper/podcaster/art gallery owner Jensen Karp as a co-host to the Kevin & Bean Show.
Karp’s career began as a freestyle rapper in the daily Roll Call on “Power 106” 105.9 KPWR which led to him getting signed to a record label as Hot Karl, a time that was documented in his book “Kanye West Owes Me $300 (and other true stories from a white rapper who ALMOST made it big)“. He later served as a writer for the WWE and currently serves as Executive Producer on TBS’ “Drop The Mic” which was spun-off from segments on The Late Late Show with James Corden. He also co-owns the pop-culture art gallery “Gallery 1988” and co-hosts the Get Up On This podcast.
Karp fills the role that was previously held by Ralph Garman until his exit last year and then briefly by the returning Mike Catherwood.
Today I officially joined the @kroq @kevinandbean show, and as a radio fanatic it feels like that shitty Marky Mark movie where he joined the band he was covering. I’m thrilled. And the staff welcomed me with open arms today with a surprise. pic.twitter.com/5HD5b5xA5M
