Lightner Communications fully debuted 1400 WYUP Loretto/107.1 W296ED Altoona as Variety Hits “107.1 Jack-FM” this afternoon.
The flip comes after stunting for a week. At 4:15 the station played 45 minutes of songs with Jack in the title before launching the new format at 5:00.

1400 WYUP (formerly WWGE) Loretto has signed on 107.1 W296ED Altoona and has dropped its Adult Standards format. WYUP is currently stunting with a broad mix of Oldies, Classic Hits, Hip-Hop, and Polka teasing multiple formats and brand names such as “The Cucumber” and “Polka Mania 107”. WYUP is streaming here.
The station will debut its new permanent format on Thursday, November 1 at 5:00pm.
