Former “Magic 107.3” KMJK Kansas City Program Director Kenny J has joined Beasley Media Group as Brand Manager for Urban “Foxy 99” 99.1 WZFX and Urban AC “Old School 107.7 Jamz” WUKS
Kenny J has also served as VP/Programming for Kennelwood Radio Urban “94.5 The Beat” KWBT Waco, PD/MD for Radio One’s Urban AC “Old School 94.5” and later Classic Hip-Hop “Boom 94.5” KSOC in the Dallas market and worked on air in West Palm Beach, Greensboro, Indianapolis, and Tulsa.
Beasley Media Group, LLC., a subsidiary of Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBGI) announces Kenny J has been named as the Program Director of WZFX-FM. In addition, he will assume Brand Manager duties for WUKS-FM and WZFX-FM, Beasley Media Group Fayetteville’s Urban stations. The radio veteran officially began his new position on Monday October 15, 2018.
Kenny J most recently served as the Program Director at KMJK-FM in Kansas City, Missouri. Previously, he worked in a variety of capacities, including as an outside Programming Consultant for ABC Radio, Urban Vice President of Programming at KWBT-FM in Waco, Texas and Assistant Program Director/Music Director at KSOC-FM in Dallas.
In addition, Kenny J did stints in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Indianapolis, Indiana, West Palm Beach Florida and Greensboro, North Carolina. He has also served as a Radio/TV instructor and former TV talk show host.
