As iHeartMedia continues to plant “Breeze” branded Soft AC’s across the country, the company is now blocking two brand names from potential use by Entercom’s “Buz’n 102.9” KMNB as it prepares to relaunch on Monday.
As first reported this morning by Northpine, iHeartMedia has rebranded 102.1 KEEY-HD2 from “K102 New” to “The Wolf 102.1 HD2“. The company has also added what it calls Country with no pop crossover “The Bull 101.3-HD3” on KDWB-HD3. iHeart’s “K102” KEEY leads the Country battle in Minneapolis against KMNB wit a 5.6 share to KMNB’s 3.5 in the November Nielsen ratings.
KEEY OM/PD Gregg Swedberg told Country Aircheck that “The Wolf is all new – very new – including cuts from today’s biggest country albums, and The Bull is an experiment in pure Country with no Pop crossover at all.”
If you're in MSP and have an HD radio and like COUNTRY. Just Country, no pop crossover, check out THE BULL 101.3 HD3 Would love to geet feedback.
