SummitMedia has made its first major staffing move since acquiring four clusters from Scripps.
Rex Hansen will retire as Market President of the Springfield MO cluster after nineteen years in charge and will be replaced by current General Sales Manager Janelle Moffett.
Hansen previously oversaw Mid-West Family Broadcasting’s stations in Springfield from 1992-2000. Moffett has been with the cluster since 2001 rising through the ranks from account executive to Local Sales Manager to General Sales Manager.
SummitMedia owns Country 94.7 KTTS, CHR “Power 96.5” KSPW, News/Talk 104.1 KSGF-FM/1260 KSGF, and Variety Hits “106.7 The River” KRVI in the Springfield market.
SummitMedia has promoted Janelle Moffett from General Sales Manager to Market President of its cluster in Springfield, MO, including KTTS 94.7, Power 96.5 KSPW, 106.7 The River KRVI, and News Talk 104.1 & 1260 KSGF, effective upon Rex Hansen’s retirement. During her 17-year career in Springfield, she has served in a sales leadership role, most recently as General Sales Manager.
