The station – formerly known as Mi 97.5 – will rebrand and become Rochester’s #1 Spanish music station. The new format will include the hottest Latin music with DJ’s Freddy Colon, Adrian Franco, New York City’s DJ Alex Sensation, and DJ Hekla.
WRSB 97.5 and 1590 AM is Rochester’s first and only commercial radio station completely dedicated to Rochester’s sizable and growing Latino community. MEGA 97.5 FM is programmed by veteran local broadcaster Freddy Colon to meet the demands of the Rochester, NY Puerto Rican-dominant Latino Community.
The station’s programming focuses on musical entertainment to attract a broad audience, and caters to the younger listener as well as the older listener with music, news, weather, and community-focused features.
