Just two months after launching “Coast Country 107.5” 1400 WGTN/107.5 W298CO Georgetown SC, Creative Coast Media has flipped the station to Adult CHR “107.5 Hits-FM“.
The station will feature a local morning show, the syndicated Tino Cochino Radio in afternoons, and PopCrush Nights with Kayla Thomas at night.
Creative Coast Media, dropped the Coast Country 107.5 format at 5pm, Monday, January 14th to make way for what is being considered a hybrid CHR format, and branded as 107.5 Hits FM.
This format is CHR but on steroids. The station will play current CHR hits, but also top 40 songs from the 90s and 2000s. Hits FM will bring back the songs people forgot on top 40 radio that aren’t played on any other station.
With a local morning show, Tino Cochino will hold the afternoon spot, and Pop Crush Nights with Kayla Thomas from 7pm to Midnight. Specialty programming on the weekends like mixshows from DJ Sticky Boots, and Kid Kelly’s Backtrax USA the 90s.
The new Hits FM format is a mix between Hot AC and CHR.
