Alpha Media Hot AC “102.3 XLC” WXLC Waukegan IL is revamping its on-air lineup.
Wes McKane, who hosted mornings at Entercom’s “103.7 Kiss-FM” WXSS from 2004-2015 and “99.1 The Mix” WMYX Milwaukee from 2015-2017, hops down I-94 to lead WXLC’s new morning show. He will be joined by Leah Anderson, who moves across the hall from weekends at “95 WILL Rock” WIIL Union Grove WI. Jimmy Novak exits after ten years in mornings.
Frank Wright remains in middays but adds the Content Director duties for the station. Chief Engineer Jason Cornell, who had been hosting nights, moves up to afternoons from 3-7pm. Those fill the duties held by previous OM/PD/afternoon host Haynes Johns prior to his exit in October after 13 years with the station.
Promotions Director Janelle Rominski adds evening host duties.
