Charley Connolly has exited iHeartMedia’s Cleveland cluster where he has programmed Country 99.5 WGAR since 2010 and Variety Hits “106.5 The Lake” WHLK since 2012. Connolly has also previously programmed AC WKJY Long Island, Smooth Jazz 101.9 WQCD New York, AC 103.7 KVIL Dallas, and Country 95.5 WSM-FM Nashville during his career.
Jason Kidd has departed his APD/afternoon host position at Cumulus Media Hot AC “Mix 107.3” WRQX Washington. Kidd joined WRQX in February 2016 after long runs in programming in multiple formats. He also runs the New Generation Radio consulting and syndication firm.

Urban One is transferring Richmond Operations Manager Yonni ‘Rude’ O’Donoghue to Detroit to oversee Urban “Hot 107.5” WGPR, Urban AC “105.9 Kiss-FM” WDMK, and the “Detroit Praise Network” translator network. O’Donoghue spent sixteen years in Charleston at multiple stations in the Cumulus cluster including time as PD of CHR “95SX” WSSX and has also served as MD/afternoon host at Urban “Foxy 99” WZFX Fayetteville NC.
Urban One R&B Oldies “Classix 107.9” WPPZ Pennsauken NJ/Philadelphia has announced that Wendy ‘Lady B’ Clark will join the station to host 9am-3pm from Monday through Thursday and her “Basement Party” mix with DJ Touchtone on Friday and Saturday from 6-10pm. One of the first female rappers, Clark worked has worked at “Power 99” WUSL, 100.3 WRNB, and SiriusXM.
Tony Brown will not return from his medical leave from his evening “Quiet Storm” slot at iHeartMedia Urban AC 105.3 WDAS-FM Philadelphia.
Brown has been off the air since suffering a series of mini strokes in January 2018. He originated hosted late nights at WDAS-FM under the “Extra Sensory Connection” name from 1972 until 1991. After originating the Quiet Storm brand at “Power 99” 98.9 WUSL in 1991 he returned with the show to WDAS-FM in 1997. Mimi Brown has been hosting the show in his absence.
