Forever South Communications is acquiring Benton-Weatherford Broadcasting and co-owned WHDM Broadcasting’s cluster serving Paris TN for $765,000.
The stations in the deal are Hot AC “The Lake 94.1” WLZK Paris, Country 104.7 WMUF Henry, Oldies 1000 WRQR/97.5 W248BK Paris and the CP for 100.1 W261DN Camden. WHDM Broadcasting adds Oldies 1440 WHDM/98.9 W255BF McKenzie and the CP for 106.1 W291DH Huntingdon.
Cantico Nuevo Ministry adds its fourth Long Island AM with the purchase of Silent 1520 WTHE Mineola NY from Abraham Warshaw’s Universal Broadcasting for $200,000. A Time Brokerage Agreement will go into effect when the station resumes broadcasting. The buyer also owns 1440 WNYG Medford and 1580 WLIM Patchouge plus operates 740 WNYH Huntington via Time Brokerage Agreement. Fybush.com reported this week that WNYH owner Dr. Richard Yoon misrepresented himself as WTHE’s owner to have the station evicted from its transmitter site last January.
Percy Squire’s Sandblast LP exercises its option to purchase Gospel “The Drum” 1580 WVKO/92.9 W225CS Columbus OH from TSJ Radio for $250,000. Squire’s Stop 26 Riverbend previously owned WVKO from 2004-2006.
Cup O’ Dirt LLC sells 1250 KZOI Dakota City NE and 97.1 K246CJ Sioux City IA to Fiesta 97.1 for $200,000. The buyer has been operating the stations via Time Brokerage Agreement as Regional Mexican “Fiesta 97.1” since November 2017.

Nantucket Public Radio sells three translators to John Garabedian’s CodComm for $11,250. 93.9 W230AW Hyannis, 100.5 W263CU Hyannis, and 107.9 W300BE Vineyard Haven all rebroadcast different subchannels of CodComm’s 102.9 WPXC Hyannis to enhance the coverage of the company’s other stations. W230AW rebroadcasts Variety Hits “Frank 93.5” WFRQ via WPXC-HD2. W263CU and W300BE rebroadcast Soft AC “Koffee 98.7” WKFY via WPXC-HD3.
Mary Medicus sells 90.5 K213FH Golden CO to Vic Michael’s Cedar Cove Broadcasting for $30,000. K213FH currently rebroadcasts the buyer’s 88.7 KRKY-FM Douglas WY.
Friends of KHFM-Ruidoso donates 95.9 K240CN Ruidoso NM to American General Media Foundation. K240CN will continue to rebroadcast the donees’ Classical 95.5 KHFM Santa Fe/Albuquerque.
