Mapleton Communications has performed a brand extension for Country “105.1 The Wolf” KAKT Phoenix/Medford OR with the launch of Classic Country “95.1 The Wolf” K236CI Medford/KAKT-HD2.
The launch sees current KAKT morning hosts Brian Bishop and Mekela Rae and midday host Leslie Haze move to the new Classic Country station. Former “Q100.3” KRWQ afternoon host Judi Austin joins K236CI for afternoons.
At KAKT, the station adds The Bobby Bones Show for mornings. Mekela Rae will perform double duty hosting middays, while Casey Baker remains in afternoons and The Big Time with Whitney Allen and CMT After MidNite with Cody Allen rounding out the daily schedule.
K236CI had been simulcasting Mapleton’s Classic Rock 95.7 KBOY Medford.
