Woof Boom Radio has flipped News/Talk 1240 WHBU/103.7 W279CL Anderson IN to Oldies “The New 103.7 & 1240 WHBU“.
The station will feature a new local morning talk show hosted by Mitch Henck. An Indiana native, Henck has spent much of his career in Madison WI where he served as a television reporter and hosted shows for iHeartMedia’s 1310 WIBA and “92.1 The Mic” WXXM. The rest of the day will mostly feature music from the 1960s and 70s with some specialty shows in the evening and on weekend mornings. WHBU will continue to carry local high school and Perdue University football and basketball and many auto races.
Off the schedule with the change are syndicated talkers Dave Ramsey, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Clark Howard.
