After stunting on Sunday evening with songs that included “Fox” in the title, Connoisseur Media relaunched “95.9 The Fox” WFOX Southport CT with a shift to 1980s-2000s Rock.
Now positioning as “Fairfield County Rocks”, the station is featuring core artists such as Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Guns N’ Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Motley Crue, and Sublime. The on-air lineup of Allan Lamberti in mornings, Cari Edwards in middays and Regional OM Keith Dakin in afternoons remains unchanged.
The first hour of the new “95.9 The Fox” consisted of:
System Of A Down – Chop Suey
Rage Against The Machine – Guerrilla Radio
Sublime – What I Got
Def Leppard – Pour Some Sugar On Me
Foo Fighters – Learn To Fly
Green Day – Holiday
Tom Petty – I Won’t Back Down
Weezer – Say It Ain’t So
Finger Eleven – Paralyzer
Bon Jovi – You Give Love A Bad Name
Stone Temple Pilots – Sex Type Thing
Jet – Are You Gonna Be My Girl
