True Oldies Y100 Debuts In Ocala

JVC Media launched Oldies “True Oldies Y100.1” W261BA Ocala/WXUS-HD2 Dunnellon FL on Saturday afternoon.

Utilizing the syndicated Scott Shannon’s True Oldies Channel as a basis, the station is focusing on 1960s and 70s hits. Local talent will be added to supplement the network programming.

JVC purchased W261BA from RFEngineers.com in August 2018 for $150,000. The translator previously rebroadcast Talk “The Goat” 900 WMOP Ocala.

The new True Oldies Y100.1 will introduce itself to Ocala, The Villages, and the surrounding area with The Best of the 60’s and 70’s – completely commercial-free!
