Prairie Winds Broadcasting is purchasing Armada Media’s five stations and three translators in northeastern South Dakota for $1.5 million.
The stations included in the deal were:
- Variety Hits “99.5 Jack-FM” KJKQ Sisseton SD
- Country “Pheasant Country 103” 102.9 KBWS-FM Sisseton SD
- Classic Rock “Power 106.3” KPHR Ortonville MN
- Full Service Classic Country 1350 KDIO/94.5 K233DL Ortonville MN
- Classic Hits 1510 KMSD/95.1 K236CU/98.3 K252FB Milbank SD
If the deal sounds like a repeat, Prairie Winds purchased its Aberdeen SD cluster from Armada Media in 2013 for $5.3 million.
