Morning co-host Scotty Kay is exiting Cumulus CHR “Hot 93.3” KLIF-FM Haltom City/Dallas at the end of July to relocate back to his native Chicago.
In an on-air announcement, Kay stated he is making the move with his fiancee to be closer to his son. He began his career at iHeartMedia “103.5 Kiss-FM” WKSC Chicago under the name ‘Special K’ and eventually rose to Music Director/night host before leaving in 2013.
Scotty K and Bret Mega joined KLIF-FM in July 2016 after both previously were part of the morning show at iHeartMedia CHR “Power 96.1” WWPW Atlanta. He also currently voicetracks shifts at Cumulus’ “95.7 The Vibe” KCHZ Kansas City and “Power 94.9” KENZ Salt Lake City.
