It is curious that the establishment broadcasters (NAB) asserted that there just were not enough available frequencies in the FM band to facilitate LPFM and satellite fed religious simulcasts. Now they are tripping over themselves fighting to add new FM translators, of which there are now over 7,000 licensed by the FCC.
