Doug ‘Sluggo’ Roberts has joined Meruelo Media Rock 95.5 KLOS Los Angeles as APD/MD.
Best know for his long run at Alternative 106.7 KROQ, Roberts also held off-air roles at Variety Hits “93.1 Jack-FM” KCBS-FM and has also worked at KZZP Phoenix and WXRK New York. Roberts will continue to host his shows on SiriusXM’s First Wave and Lithium channels.
Meruelo Media announced today that highly respected veteran pro, Doug “Sluggo” Roberts has joined 95.5 KLOS as APD/MD.
Roberts joins Meruelo Media from CBS/Entercom Los Angeles, where he was a jack of all trades. Roberts worked for over a decade both on and off air in key programming roles for KROQ and JACK-FM. Roberts is wildly creative and brings a deep knowledge of music and the competitive landscape of Southern California. Roberts’s creativity was heard though his creative copy writing for the voice of Jack.

I’m so excited to be here.” KLOS Program Director, Keith Cunningham, added, “Doug brings a wealth of programming experience and a unique perspective that will be tremendous assets to KLOS and the entire Meruelo Media family.”
Roberts starts August 26, 2019 and will report directly to KLOS Program Director Keith Cunningham. KLOS will relocate to the Meruelo Media Burbank Studios in late September.
