Former Entercom Talk 98.1 KMBZ-FM Kansas City evening host Jonathan Weir has joined Beasley Media’s “Country 102.5” WKLB Boston as morning host.
Weir will join incumbent co-host Ayla Brown as previous co-host Jackson Blue makes his planned move to afternoons. Weir has spent his career mostly in Talk formats, most recently spending seven years in late mornings and then evenings at KMBZ-FM prior to his cut at the end of June. He has also worked at WSKY Gainesville FL.
Beasley Media Group, LLC, a subsidiary of Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBGI) announces Jonathan Wier has been named as the new morning Host on Country 102.5FM. The Jonathan Wier & Ayla Brown Show will officially launch on Wednesday, September 4th from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on WKLB-FM.
The St. Louis native, who took a unique path to radio after his wife entered him into a radio talk show host search back in 2004, most recently spent the past four years serving as the nighttime personality at KMBZ-FM in Kansas City.

Jackson Blue will move from doing mornings to hosting the afternoon drive shift from 2-7pm on the station.
