Cumulus Media News/Talk 770 KKOB Albuquerque/94.5 K233CG Sandia NM has announced the addition of Sheriff Darren White to host a 1-3pm show starting Monday, October 7.
White served as Bernalillo County Sheriff from 2003-2009 and Secretary of New Mexico Department of Public Safety and Albuquerque Chief Public Safety Officer. He fills the opening created by the exit of former KKOB Program Director Pat Frisch, who hosted in the 1-3pm timeslot until his departure in June.
Former Sheriff Darren White joins 94.5 FM and AM 770 Newsradio KKOB in Albuquerque to host middays from 1pm to 3pm MST beginning Monday, October 7th. White served as Bernalillo County Sheriff from 2003-2009, as well as Secretary of New Mexico Department of Public Safety and Albuquerque Chief Public Safety Officer. Darren is a fixture in Albuquerque media, having been a frequent guest and host of radio shows on Newsradio KKOB. He has also been a correspondent for KRQE-TV Channel 13.
