With Larry ‘Moon’ Thompson set to retire at the end of this week, Hubbard Radio Hot AC “KS 95” KSTP-FM St. Paul/Minneapolis didn’t have to look too far down the road to find his replacement.
Former “Mix 99.1” KEEZ Mankato MN PD/Morning Host Brad Steele will debut on Monday, October 7 utilizing the on-air name Greg ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson. Hutchinson will join incumbent co-host Staci Matthews for the reminted “Staci & Hutch” show. The announcement was made in a Minneapolis Star-Tribune profile of Thompson ahead of his retirement.
Thompson had been with KSTP-FM since 2002 after previously spending nine years in mornings at KHMX Houston and time at KMZQ Las Vegas and KRKY Denver. He announced his intent to retire in May due to increased complications from Multiple Sclerosis.
