Genesee Media is selling Classic Country 1310 WOKR/95.5 W238DG Canandaigua NY to Timothy Stratton’s 1310 FLX Radio Inc. for $250,000. Stratton, who is also in the process of purchasing 850 WYLF/93.9 W230CZ Penn Yan NY, began operating WOKR via LMA in August.
William Santa’s Hometown Radio is selling Full Service 1340 WIRY Plattsburgh NY to a group of WIRY News Director Dave Andrews, Clinton County Sheriff David Favro, local realtor Joey Trombley, and Clinton County Legislator Mark Henry for $287,500. The buyers have begun operating WIRY via LMA. No mention of the status of Santa’s LMA of 100.7 WIRY-FM Plattsburgh from Randy Michaels’ RadioActive LLC to serve as a simulcaster of 1340 in the sale filings.
John Fredericks’ MAGA Radio Network is converting their LMA of Conservative Talk 100.5 WJFN Goochland VA into a purchase. Fredericks will pay Truth Broadcasting Corporation $155,000 for the station that he began operating in November 2018.
