Logic Educational Network will receive 1280 WDSP De Funiak Springs FL from Stephen Riggs and Max Howell’s Sportsmaxxx Inc. in exchange for owed FCC regulatory fees and a 1kW AM transmitter. Included in the deal is an LMA set to begin on December 1, but the owners have also filed to take the station off the air until closing. A 2011 license transfer of 104.3 K282AW Eagle River AK from Morris Communications to Alaska Educational Radio Systems was dismissed as the buyer never responded to an FCC inquiry last month to determine a new originating station for the station to replace 90.1 KWMD Sterling AK, whose license was deleted in 2014.
