Cumulus Media flipped Conservative Talk “Talk Radio 100.7” W264AK/WQQO-HD2 Toledo OH to Rock “100.7 The Zone“.
The move marks the fourth incarnation of the “Zone” brand in the market. The Zone was first heard on 106.5 WRWK as Alternative from 2001-2009. It was first resurrected on 100.7 in 2010 before flipping to CHR in May 2011. It was restored in March 2012 with a more Active Rock lean, which lasted until September 2016 when the translator assumed the programming heard on the defunct 1470 WTOD.
Chris ‘Peapod” Daher, who hosts evenings on CHR “Q105.5” WQQO, will add mornings on The Zone. The remainder of the programming comes from Westwood One’s Rock 2.0 network.
