Saratoga Radio has begun operating Appaloosa Broadcasting’s 96.9 KYAP Nunn/Fort Collins CO and flipped the station from a simulcast of Oldies “The Big 870” KJMP Pierce to Classic Country “K96.9” on Friday, November 8.
The launch resurrects the heritage “K” branding utilized by Townsquare Media’s 99.1 KUAD-FM Windsor until its rebranding from “K99” to “New Country 99.1” in February. The station is positioning as “Colorado’s Throwback Country” with a broad playlist focusing on the 70s through 2000s.
