$7.1 Million Land Sale Leads To Sign-Off Of Two South Florida AMs

1470 WWN WWNN Boca Raton Money Talk Radio 740 WSBR 980 WHSR BeasleyBeasley Media Group signed-off Business “Money Talk Radio” 740 WSBR Boca Raton and Brokered Haitian 980 WHSR Pompano Beach FL at midnight on Sunday.

WSBR’s “Money Talk Radio” branding and programming has been merged into Beasley’s Brokered Talk 1470 WWNN Pompano Beach/95.3 W237BD Boca Raton. In addition, WSBR’s two translators 96.9 W245BC Lauderdale Lakes and 103.9 W280DU Boca Raton are now rebroadcasting WWNN. The stations serve northern Broward County in the Miami market including Fort Lauderdale and southern Palm Beach County around Boca Raton.

The shut down of WSBR and WHSR comes as Beasley sells the 24.38 acre tower site of the two stations to the city of Parkland FL for $7.1 million. The city intends to combine the land with an adjacent 12 acre lot to build a new park.
