As Eastern Kentucky University ends its LMA of “WEKU Classical” 102.1 WKYL Lawrenceburg KY on Monday, December 16, station owner Davenport Broadcasting has agreed to sell the station to Kristen Cantrell’s Capcity Communications for $250,000. The station will become the fifth station in Capcity’s Frankfort KY cluster joining Country simulcast “Froggy 101.7/104.9” WVKY Shelbyville/WFKY Frankfort and Classic Hits “Passport Radio” 1490 WKYW/93.5 W228CL/103.7 WFRT-FM Frankfort. Capcity will begin operating WKYL via LMA on the 16th.
