With growing expectations that CBS Sports Radio morning co-host Marc ‘Moose’ Malusis will be moving to middays on 660 WFAN/101.9 WFAN-FM New York, his co-host Peter ‘Taz’ Senerchia has announced he too will be leaving the network at the end of this week.
The former ECW and WWE wrestler turned broadcaster first joined CBS Radio in 2015 for a daily streaming wrestling show. He and Malusis took over the CBS Sports Radio 6-9am eastern slot at the start of 2018 supplanting Gregg ‘Gio’ Giannotti and Brian Jones after Giannotti himself moved over to WFAN. Taz intends to continue his wrestling focused “The Taz Show”.

Malusis held multiple roles at WFAN before moving over to CBS Sports Radio including producer for Mike & The Mad Dog and overnight host. He has also served as a commentator and analyst for Sportsnet New York since 2008, while he and likely midday partner Maggie Gray hosted a Saturday morning show on CBS Sports Radio from its launch in 2013 until she joined WFAN and he moved to mornings.
CBS Sports Radio also notified affiliates that they must transition to a new logo that removes the CBS Eye by December 31. Entercom has already removed the eye from any station logo that used it following their 2017 acquisition of CBS Radio. The acquisition also required the network to remove the CBS Sports name by the end of 2020.
I have seen no indication of a name change for CBS Sports Radio come January. Is this going to happen?
