After six years as the founding co-host of Westwood One’s “Nash Nights Live“, Shawn Parr is exiting the show at the end of 2019.
Parr joined the show as host of the national Country night show in January 2014 from mornings at Mount Wilson FM’s “Go Country 105.1” KKGO-FM Los Angeles. Prior to joining KKGO upon its 2007 flip to Country, Parr held two stints at Country 93.9 KZLA Los Angeles.
Co-host Elaina Smith will remain hosting Nash Nights Live. Smith has also been with the show since its debut after previously co-hosting mornings at CHR 107.1 WAOA Melbourne FL and serving as a producer for Dave, Shelley and Chainsaw at 100.7 KFMB-FM San Diego. Smith also hosts the weekly “With Elaina” for Westwood One, Women Want to Hear Women podcast, Westwood One Backstage red carpet programs, and is the voice of the Academy of Country Music Awards.

This program has always sounded fraudulent to me!!! For a show calling itself “Nash Nights LIVE,” I’ve NEVER heard the hosts do any live phoners…EVER!
Would not surprise me if the entire program is voicetracked.
Shawn Parr seems like a nice guy, but he is boring. Every time he cracks the mic, he sounds super scripted. Does the guy ever ad lib?
