iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 550 KFYI Phoenix Morning host Mike Broomhead has announced he has exited the station upon the expiration of his contract on December 31.
Broomhead had been with KFYI for ten years, starting as afternoon host in 2009 and rising to mornings following the retirement of Barry Young in November 2014. He continues to host a weekly show on Saturdays for KAZT-TV in Phoenix.
The station has yet to announce plans for the timeslot.
After 10 amazing years I have decided to leave KFYI. As sure as I am that God put me there I am as sure that this is the right decision for me. This is 100% my decision Thank all of you who have listened. I have some time to figure out what is next. Will keep you posted God Bless
