Numbers of note for this month:
- iHeartMedia AC “99.9 KEZ” KESZ Phoenix shatters its own station high with a 19.2 share according to ratings expert Chris Huff. The perennial Christmas music powerhouse is up from a 15.0 in 2018 and 16.4 in 2017. KESZ’s sheer dominance of the market led to only two other stations showing month-to-month growth as Classical 89.5 KBAQ rose 1.6 to 2.0 and Norteno 710 KDUS was up 0.1 to 0.2.
- For the third time since its move to a Sports heavy lineup in September, iHeartMedia News/Talk 850/94.1 KOA Denver sets a station record low with 2.5 to 2.1 drop.
- Bonneville AC 101.1 KOSI Denver registered a market leading 14.4 share, which was up from its 12.8 in Holiday 2018 and 11.5 in 2017.
- iHeartMedia AC 100.3 WNIC Detroit gained a new Christmas music competitor this year in Entercom Soft AC “98.7 The Breeze” WDZH. The result saw WNIC only registering a 14.8 share as opposed to 2018’s 17.9 and 2017’s 15.8. WDZH ranked fourth in the market with a 4.9 share.
- iHeartMedia AC 97.1 WASH Washington DC grew its holiday book showing over the past three years 9.7 – 10.4 – 12.9.

- Entercom AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX Boston also continued its three year holiday book rise 13.6 – 14.5 – 15.2. That led to one of the biggest single-station drops in Beasley Classic Hits 105.7 WROR as it was down 8.1 to 6.2.
- Ahead of its deep cuts last week, iHeartMedia News 1030 WBZ Boston rose 4.8 to 6.0 to move up to third in the market. Public News/Talk 90.9 WBUR is in a three month nosedive 4.5 – 3.9 – 2.7

- iHeartMedia Classic Hits “Kool 108” KQQL has been down the past three years as its holiday book shares slide 14.2 – 12.6 – 11.6.
